I recently had the pleasure of working with Pinnacle for the restoration of the home’s marble and limestone floors, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! From the beginning, their professionalism was evident. They provided a thorough proposal that clearly explained the issues with the floors, the restoration process, and the desired outcome.
To give us confidence in the results, they performed a mock cleaning, which was incredibly reassuring. The entire project took approximately three weeks, and the Pinnacle crew was consistently punctual, arriving every day and accommodating our needs to keep certain areas of the home accessible.
After the restoration was completed, we experienced a minor accident involving the stone floor. Pinnacle’s team responded promptly to address the issue, providing a complimentary fix without hesitation.

We had travertine floors in the majority of the main floor of our home. It is 18 years old, no looking so great and in need of restoration. We are from Iowa and had called companies in Iowa with no response. We decided to try some we saw listed in Chicago. Kosta, owner of Pinnacle Stone Restoration, was the only one that called me back. From the beginning, he was very friendly, responsive and informative and directed me to some of his excellent videos. He said they would come to Iowa to do the work and after I gave him the square footage, he gave me a very reasonable quote for the 4+ system right away. He was very responsive and scheduled a crew to come to our home the next week! Edgar and his team showed up on time always, worked 3 days straight with only lunch breaks. Edgar was an excellent communicator and extremely knowledgeable on travertine. He knew exactly what to do and gave us good recommendations right away on what the finished sheen should be based on our input. The results were outstanding! We could not be happier. Our floors look better than they ever have. We would recommend Pinnacle to anyone.

It’s hard to find a company that have both excellent customer service and do excellent work. This was the first company I called to get an estimate. Kosta was in the area so he came by within half an hour. What a great representative for the company, I hired him on the spot! I was sure, over the last 15 years I had ruined my travertine flooring. I abused and neglected my floors but had to at least try to restore them. They did more than restore them, they look better than they did new! I can’t even believe this is the same house. His workers were considerate of my house, used tarps and they were overall just great people. I won’t ever regret my decision. I’ve been smiling since the completion, I can’t believe this worked! Wow! We had never been quite happy with our travertine floors due to a poor installation job originally that left lippage all over the floor. After dealing with it for 12 years, we knew it was time to do something. We called Kosta and he showed us the 8+ system. We also watched the videos on his excellent website to understand the experiences that others had. We were very excited to think that this could remedy our problems for good. Kosta’s crew showed up right on time and was very professional and careful while they refinished our kitchen and laundry room floors. We could not be more pleased with how the job turned out. We finally have the floor that we always wanted! The floor is silky smooth now and you cannot even feel the lines in between the tiles. Fantastic work. Highly recommend for anyone that has travertine floors that are a bit tired. It will be worth it!

I was tremendously impressed by this company which came out to consult on our honed granite countertops. We had previously been given some poor advice regarding its treatment, care, and maintenance and as a result I was stressed, worried, frustrated, and ready to let them do almost anything that they recommended. The fact that, ultimately, Pinnacle did not do any work for us is why they deserve this incredible review.
Javier was incredibly thorough, patient, and knowledgeable. His passion for his work was clear as well as his deep understanding of the materials he works with. His recommendation was primarily to worry and do less- just some basic no-fuss cleaning, some safe products for deeper cleaning and maintenance, but that resurfacing, sealing, and professional work were not needed at all. He answered my questions thoroughly and thoughtfully and without any condescension.
Armed with this great advice, I doubt I will need their services in the future as long as we stay in this home, but they will be the first company I call if I ever do!

Had Kosta and his team at Pinnacle repair and restore our heavily damaged travertine floor. Some of the tiles pre-repair had more holes thatn tile. Kosta came out and gave us an estimate and talked to us about their full travertine restoration process. My wife and I were not sure what the end product would look like and Kosta was nice enough to let us come check out a project they were finishing up. Once seeing the process and end product we decided to move forward. While the work was happening the crew was very careful and considerate of our belongings and home. They taped off all openings and protected our woodwoork and trim. They did a great job on the floor and it now feels like a solid smooth slab, an amazing and astonishing improvement over what we had before. Guests can’t believe that this is even the same floor. Glad I went with pinnacle and will be using them going forward for any repairs or maintenance work needed with natural stone.

Pinnacle 2 person team (brothers) spent 9 hours at our home to refurbish our quartzite kitchen countertops. Excellent work and made sure my wife and I were happy with results before packing up for the day. I highly recommend Pinnacle!

I found a video on YouTube of some amazing work that this company had done on a restoring a black marble tile shower. I live in Chattanooga TN, so there was no way I would be able to get my shower restored due to my location. I called and left a voicemail with the hopes of getting information on how I could restore my shower. Costa was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and kind. I explained how my tile was damaged, and he walked me through the restoration process, advised which products would work best, and how to use them, and told me to call back if I have any other questions or concerns. He really went above and beyond to help a stranger with no expectation of me doing anything in return. I even offered to pay for the knowledge, and he denied, stating that he was simply happy to help. He gave me more information and guidance in a matter of minutes than I have gotten from hours of research. This is an honest man with an honest business, and his work speaks for itself. If I was located locally, this is hands down who I would use for any shower restoration project.

Couldn’t be happier!!! Had my floors put in by a bad installer about 10 years ago. I had lippage on practically every tile. Cracks and holes showed up everywhere. I honestly was getting ready to rip it all out until I found this company. They came out the very next day to assess the condition and had a quote to me very quickly. I didn’t think the tile could be salvaged but he assured me the 8+ system would fix all my issues. The workers were extremely friendly and professional. The final product blew my mind away. I’ve never seen this floor look so amazing. All the lippage gone and as a plus no more grout lines. They use epoxy to fill in the seams and fill in all the voids. perfectly smooth surface and the shine looks great. My feet couldn’t be happier. As far as I’m concerned no one is better than these guys.

I cannot say enough good things about Pinnacle Stone Restoration. They are magicians! We found Kosta and Restoration through a referral, and we’re glad we did. Kosta came immediately for an estimate, and his passion for stone and terrazzo was evident. It was the first stone company we had in the apartment that appreciated the terrazzo flooring (most companies just look at stone with no emotion; Kosta got excited seeing the terrazzo). It helped that Kosta also shared a passion for brass. He knew exactly what to do. And he did it. The floor now looks like a Faberge egg: shiny, smooth, sparkly…perfect. Almost too nice to walk on.
